Women entrepreneurs in education felicitated

Srinagar: An important meeting of the women’s wing of Private Schools Association JK (PSAJK) was on Wednesday held at the Central Office Srinagar.

The meeting was chaired by G. N. Var president of PSAJK while as Nighat Aman, SSP CivilĀ Secretariat was special invitee on the occasion.

In her speech,Ā Nighat Aman said that women are no less than men and if given right platform, women can do wonders. She said that mother is the first teacher of a child and only mother can teach good moral values to the children. She highlighted the role of teachers in transforming the society.

Chairman PSAJK said that women entrepreneurs in Education sector are doing a commendable job. He stressed on the need to organize the women’s wing so that issues specially confronting their schools are addressed on respective platforms.

Var advocated for more empowerment of women leaders in education sector as women can transform the society in a right direction if they are given chance and support.

Dr Kanchan Negi, eminent teacher trainer and counselor from Dehradoon underlined the need of counseling children especially during the Covid pandemic.Ā  Women entrepreneurs in education sector were felicitated by PSA JK on this occasion.

On this occasion, an adhoc body of the women’s wing of PSAJK was formed. Ishrat Tanki, Chairperson FEI Pattan was nominated as head of the wing while as Baseema Anayat, Shamima Mir, Marzia Javed, Gowhar Tasleem, Nayeema Ahmad were nominated as executive members.
