Srinagar: An earthquake, measuring 4.2 on the Richter Scale, rocked parts of the Union Territory of Ladakh on Friday.
An official said that tremors measuring 4.2 on Richter Scale hit parts of Ladakh at 1102 hrs on Friday. “The epicenter of the earthquake was 131 km North North East of border town of Leh,” he said, adding that its depth was 90 km.
However, he said there was no report of any loss of life or damage to the property so far.
