Srinagar: The Army on Sunday postponed the recruitment rally that was scheduled to be held in Bandipora from May 17 in view of unabated rise in the number of COVID-19 cases in Kashmir valley.
Defence Ministry spokesperson Lt Col Emron Musavi said that in the wake of spike in COVID-19 cases in the Valley, Army Recruitment Rally, which was scheduled to be held from May 17 to May 28, 2021 at Helipad Ground, Sonarwani, Bandipora has been postponed till further orders.
“Candidates who have already registered for this recruitment rally, their registration will stand and not be affected,” he said, adding fresh dates of rally will be intimated later.
