Anantnag: An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was detected near the national highway in Turka—Tachloo, Khudwani area of Kulgam on Thursday.
An official said a joint team of forces detected an IED near the national highway.
He said soon after the IED was found, a bomb disposal squad was called, who upon reaching the spot defused it and helped in averting a major tragedy.
He added that case has been registered in this regard and investigation has been taken up. (KNO)
