Jammu: In a bizarre incident, one trolley carrying equipment meant for oxygen generation plant installation went missing under mysterious circumstances in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The equipment was delivered by the Punjab based firm for oxygen generation plant installation at Government Medical College and Hospital, Doda.
In total, 37 new oxygen generation plants are coming up across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir in view of need emerging out of oxygen shortage as COVID cases are on rise.
“The trolley reached the Doda last week and remained parked at hospital premises for two days for unloading,” sources said.
They said that on Saturday, when the mechanical teams visited the spot for further action, found the vehicle missing along with the equipment.
“The higher authorities were immediately informed and on their intervention, a case was registered against the supplier firm while the company has reportedly assured resupply of the material,” sources added.
