COVID-19: J&K reports 2204 new  cases, 13 deaths

Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Government on Wednesday informed that 2204 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (905 from Jammu division and 1299 from Kashmir division), have been reported thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 152442.

Also 13 deaths have been reported, 10 from Jammu Division and 03 from Kashmir Division.

Moreover, 733 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 254 from Jammu Division and 479 from Kashmir Division.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 152442 positive cases, 14928 are Active Positive, 135430 have recovered and 2084 have died; 781 in Jammu division and 1303 in Kashmir division.

The Bulletin further said that out of 6877526 test results available, 6725084 samples have been tested as negative till April 21.

Till date 1700503 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 71347 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 14928 in isolation and 127043 in home surveillance.

Besides, 1485101 persons have completed their surveillance period.
