J&K records highest COVID spike of 2021 with 1005 cases

Srinagar: The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has started haunting people yet again in Jammu and Kashmir as the cases continue to resurge with Union Territory on Saturday recording over one thousand (1000) positive cases.

According to the details available with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Jammu and Kashmir has recorded 1005 positive today cases while Srinagar, the summer capital of the Union Territory has topped the list with 492 cases.

As per the figures, of 1005, 706 persons have been tested positive in Kashmir Valley while 299 are tested positive in Jammu region—(KNO)
