Anantnag: Four persons, including a retired soldier and a policeman, were arrested for alleged sexual assault on a minor teenage girl in south Kashmir district of Kulgam, official sources said.
They said a 16-year-old, who is now pregnant, was sexually assaulted by the accused persons.
However, a case was registered recently and all the accused have been arrested, they said adding further investigation has been taken up.
A case FIR Number 61/2021 U/S 342, 109, 376D of IPC under the POCSO Act in police station Qazigund has been registered.
On Monday two local residents, including a driver were arrested for allegedly trying to rape a girl inside a truck in the same area.
