Srinagar: Former Chief Minister Dr Farooq Abdullah, admitted to hospital after testing positive for COVID-19, is responding well and getting better, his son National Conference (NC) Vice President (VP) Omar Abdullah informed Tuesday evening.
The NC today organized organizing prayers across Jammu and Kashmir for early recovery of Abdullah, who was admitted to S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) on April 3 after testing positive for COVID-19. He had received first dose of COVID vaccine on March 2.
Lt Governor Manoj Sinha visited SKIMS to enquire about the health of Dr Abdullah.
