Covid-19: JK records 195 new cases

Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday recorded 195 new positive cases of novel Corona virus.

Of the new cases, 49 were reported from Jammu division and 146 from Kashmir. It has taken the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 129031.

Moreover, 92 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 23 from Jammu Division and 69 from Kashmir Division.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 129031 positive cases, 1983 are Active Positive, 125535 have recovered and 1983 have died; 732 in Jammu division and 1251 in Kashmir division.

The Bulletin further said that out of 5830758test results available, 5701727 samples have been tested as negative till March 24, 2021.

Till date 1454052 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 29513 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 1513 in isolation and 125175in home surveillance.

Besides, 1295868 persons have completed their surveillance period.
