Washington: Nepal on Tuesday expressed concerns over the rising incidents of violence against people of Asian origin in United States.
The Embassy of Nepal, here, in a statement, highlighted the recent shooting in Atlanta in which eight people lost their lives.
The mission also took note of the recent case of assault against a Nepali cab driver in San Francisco and thanked the law enforcement agencies and the American people for bringing the culprits to book.
Condemning all kinds of violence and discrimination against any racial group, the Himalayan nation expressed faith that justice will be delivered soon and urged Nepalis living in the US to abide by the laws of the land and respect the local culture.
