157 fresh Covid-19 cases, 2 deaths in JK

Srinagar: For the seventh consecutive day, Jammu and Kashmir reported over 100 covid-19 cases, with 157 reported in the last 24 hours along with two deaths due to the virus, officials said on Tuesday.

Among the fresh cases, 52 were reported from Jammu Division and 105 from Kashmir Valley.

The fresh cases include 41 travelers and it has taken the overall case tall in J&K to 128836—52455 in Kashmir and 76381 in Jammu.

Regarding two deaths, officials said both the victims were from Kashmir.

Giving the district-wise details, the officials said Srinagar reported 56 cases including 25 travelers, Baramulla 23, Budgam 14, Pulwama 3, Kupwara 3, Anantnag 3, Bandipora 1, Ganderbal 0, Kulgam 2, Shopian 0, Jammu 39 (3 travelers), Udhampur 3, Rajouri 2, Doda 0, Kathua 5, Samba 2, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 0, Ramban 0, and Reasi 1.

A number of these cases were confirmed at diagnostic laboratories of SKIMS Soura, CD hospital and SKIMS Soura.

The SKIMS cases include male (27) from Nawhar Budgam , female (18) from Kralipora Darabugh, male (63) and female (62) from Nagbal Ganderbal, male (65), female (64) from Lalbazar, males (48, 17) and females (20, 54) from Fatehkadal Sgr, female (50) from Baramulla, female (48) from Vacharnag Sgr, females (60, 30) from Soura, female (24) from Hafizbagh , male (36) from Zoonimar Sgr, male (38) from Nawakadal , male (34) and female (60) from Zakura Sgr, female (80) from Khaniyar Sgr, female (80) from Sehpora Ganderbal, male (80) from Shalimar Sgr, female (65) from Bemina Sgr, female (NA) from Sgr.
The CD include female (25) (NA) from Sgr, male (44) (NA) from Rambagh, female (36) (NA) from Panthachowk, male (30) (NA) from Sonwar, female (17) (NA) from Sgr, female (20) (NA) from Elahibagh, female (45) (NA) from Shalimar, female (23) (NA) from Hazratbal, male (60) (NA) from Mehjoor Nagar, male (NA) from Bamdipora, female (55) (NA) from Mehjoor Nagar, female (40) (NA) from Nowshera, male (45) (NA) from Lalchowk, female (24) (NA) from Pulwama, male (42) (NA) from Jawaharnagar, female (69) (NA) from Nowshera, female (29) (NA) from Hawal, female (26) (NA) from Hawal, female (59) (NA) from Hawal, male (33) (NA) from Hawal.

GMC Anantnag include female (55) from Kamad, male (60) from Achabal and male (12) (NA) from Kanipora.

Meanwhile, they said, 81 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals—11 from Jammu Division and 70 from Kashmir. So far, 125443 persons have recovered—51392 in Jammu and 74051 in Kashmir. There are 1410 active cases—331 in Jammu division and 1079 in the Valley while 1983 people have died, 732 in Jammu division and 1251 in the Valley. (GNS)
