Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory Government has ordered transfer of senior IAS officer and Inspector General Registration Pawan Kotwal to Ladakh UT.
According to the order in possession of news agency KINS, the government said, “In the interest of administration, Dr. Pawan Kotwal, IAS (JK: 1994), Inspector General of Registration, J&K, is transferred and his services placed at the disposal of the Union Territory of Ladakh for further posting”.
It is to mention here that last month the government recalled two IAS officers from Lakdakh and deputed as many others to the UT.
Baseer-ul-Haq Chaudhary, IAS , Deputy Commissioner, Kargil and Sachin Kumar Vaishy, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Leh were recalled from Union territory of Ladakh to the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Consequently Baseer-ul-Haq Chaudhary was asked to report to the General Administration Department for further posting.
Sachin Kumar Vaishy was posted as Deputy Commissioner, Shopian while Suse, was transferred and deputed to Ladakh with immediate effect.
Also, Santosh Sukhadeve—IAS SubDivisional Magistrate, Mahore, holding additional charge of Sub-Registrar, Mahore, was transferred and deputed to the Ladakh.
The Government last year had also placed the services of over 100 officials of different departments at the disposal of the Union Territory (UT) of Ladakh on deputation basis for a period of two years. (KINS)
