Srinagar: Body of a 30-year-old man was found under mysterious circumstances in south Kashmir district of Pulwama on Friday.
Official sources said panic gripped the village Bellow in Pulwama when the body of a man was found under mysterious circumstances in an orchard on Friday evening. “The locals immediately informed the police,” they said, adding a team was rushed to the spot and the body was taken away.
They said the deceased was later identified as Sameer Ahmad Rather, a resident of village Arigam. “Rather had left home early in the morning,” they said.
They said after completing all the legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites. “Police has registered a case and initiated investigation into the incident,” they added. (UNI)
