Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday recorded 77 new positive cases of Coronavirus and two deaths.
Of the 77 new cases, 17 were reported from Jammu division and 60 from Kashmir division. With the fresh cases, total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir has risen to 127191.
Jammu and Kashmir also reported two deaths (one each in Kashmir and Jammu region) due to Covid-19 today.
Moreover, 87 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 18 from Jammu Division and 69 from Kashmir Division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 127191 positive cases, 859 are Active Positive, 124367 have recovered and 1965 have died; 729 in Jammu division and 1236 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 5436662 test results available, 5309471 samples have been tested as negative till March 9.
Till date 1362665 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 31836 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 859 in isolation and 117550 in home surveillance.
Besides, 1210455 persons have completed their surveillance period.
