Hamirpur(HP): Union Minister of state for finance and Corporate affairs, Anurag Thakur today castigated the Congress party and its leader, Rahul Gandhi for trying to divide the nation on regional basis.
They ( Rahul and his parents) first divided the nation in the name of caste, religion and society and now the turn was of the region wise, Thakur said during a meeting at Una last evening.
He said that Rahul Gandhi was in the habit of making false accusations against the BJP and such things would pay him heavily in all coming elections. People of India knew his past and they will teach him a lesson in the coming elections too.
Thakur said that while in Northern India he used to say something and when he visited South he made his speeches different from what he had delivered in Northern states. This showed his real character and how he was trying to create seeds of discontentment among the people of the country.
The BJP leader claimed that it was the BJP led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi that was uniting the nation without any considerations and giving equal treatment in the field of developmental and other activities to all parts of India whether it may be North, South, East or West.
