Bandipora: A 45-year-old man who sustained grievous injuries in a road accident in Suderkoot-payeen area of Bandipora on last Sunday, succumbed to his injuries at Srinagar hospital on Friday morning.
An official said a man, identified as Irshad Ahmad, son of Ghulam Mohammad (45) of Nowpora, was critically injured last Sunday after a vehicle (Alto 5674 -JK15) he was travelling in skidded off the road at SK-Payeen and fell into a deep gorge.
However, after battling for his life for five daus, the man succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS on today morning.
After completing all the legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites—(KNO)
