Rs 3.50 lakh cash looted from Budgam petrol pump

Srinagar: Two unidentified masked gunmen looted cash Rs 3.50 lakh from a petrol pump in central Kashmir district of Badgam late Thursday night, official sources said.

They said two masked men holding pistol threatened employees of a petrol pump in Badgam last night when security force Road Opening Party (ROP) had withdrawn.

Gunmen escaped after looting Rs 3,50,000 from the employees after threatening them.

Meanwhile, police has registered a case and initiated proceedings. However, sources said the area has no CCTV cameras and it was dark there when the incident took place.
