Khelo India National Winter Games will promote tourism: J&K Hoteliers Club

Srinagar: J&K Hoteliers Club and United Tourism Forum Friday said that the Khelo India national winter games are being held at Gulmarg to promote tourism in the Kashmir.

J&K Hoteliers Club and United Tourism Forum said this during a press conference in a hotel in Srinagar.

Chairman hoteliers club Mushtaq Chaya and President Gulmarg Hoteliers Club, Mukthar Shah jointly addressed the presser.

They said that they have made adequate arrangements for the athletes and officials participating in the Khelo India Winter National Games.

While addressing the presser, Mushtaq Chaya said that the event is being held at Gulmarg to promote tourism in the valley and it is their responsibility to make the event a success.

While expressing gratitude to Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha Chahya said they are thankful to UT Administration for hosting the National Winter Games at Gulmarg.

“They could have chosen any place for this event, but they made a point by selecting Gulmarg for this Mega event,” he said.

He said: “This is our event and we as hoteliers will also contribute towards making it a successful event, we are closely in coordination with Tourism department and Sports council.”

He said that they are thankful to Tourism department and UT Administration for reviving the Tourism not only in Gulmarg but in entire Kashmir. “Peace is what we need to have smooth Tourism promotion in the valley,” he said. (KNO)
