Covid-19 : JK records 55 new cases

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Government on Tuesday informed that 55 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (17 from Jammu division and 38 from Kashmir division), have been reported thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 125007.

Moreover, 55 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 08 from Jammu Division and 47 from Kashmir Division.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Coronavirus (Covid-19), out of 125007 positive cases, 593 are Active Positive, 122470 have recovered and 1944 have died; 722 in Jammu division and 1222 in Kashmir division.

The Bulletin further said that out of 4730411 test results available, 4605404 samples have been tested as negative till February 9.

Till date, 1184419 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 34164 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 593 in isolation and 105475 in home surveillance.

Besides, 1042243 persons have completed their surveillance period.

As per the daily information bulletin 1,184,419 persons in Jammu and Kashmir are under observation while 34,164 persons have been kept under home quarantine besides that 593 persons are in isolation.

According to the bulletin, 1,042,243 persons have completed surveillance period and 105,475 persons are under home surveillance besides that so far results of 4,730,411 samples are available.

Out of 4,730,411 the number of samples tested negative stands at 4,605,404 while as 125,007 have tested positive, among them 593 persons are active, 122,470 persons have recovered and 1,944 persons have died.
