Jammu: The Border Security Force on Monday shot dead a Pakistani intruder along international border in Samba sector in Jammu and Kashmir, a BSF spokesman said.
“At about 9.40 am, the BSF troops observed a Pak Intruder heading towards a fence in the area of Border Outpost Chak Faquira, Sector Samba, Jammu,” the spokesman said.
Despite repeated warnings, he said that the intruder kept moving under suspicious circumstances and approached fencing in an aggressive manner towards the BSF fence and was fired upon by BSF troops.
In the firing the intruder was shot dead.
The spokesman said a tunnel was also detected in this area recently.
