Warm send off accorded to MS Police Hospital Srinagar

Srinagar: A farewell function was organized at PCR Kashmir to give a warm send-off to Medical Superintendent, Police Hospital Srinagar Dr. Bilal Ahmad Raja on his superannuation. Senior Police Officers including IGP Kashmir Shri Vijay Kumar-IPS, DIG CKR Amit Kumar-IPS and other officers were present on the occasion.

The speakers lauded the role of Dr. Bilal Ahmad and recounted his contribution from Medical Officer to Medical Superintendent of Police Hospital. They also recalled his major role in upgrading the Police Hospital in terms of infrastructure and medical facilities and making it at par with the best available hospitals. His role during COVID 19 pandemic was also highly appreciated by the speakers. They wished a happy and healthy post-retirement life to him.

A similar farewell party was also organized yesterday at the auditorium of J&K Police Hospital, Srinagar. The farewell was attended by senior officers, staff and colleagues from GMC Srinagar. The speakers, in general, lauded the contribution of Dr. Bilal Ahmad Raja during his more than 22 years of service which he professionally rendered in the said hospital. His achievements will be very much there in the annals of Police Organization.

Meanwhile, Dr. Khalid Parvez assumed charge as Medical Superintendent of the J&K Police Hospital, Srinagar. He, in his speech, inter alia, congratulated Dr. Bilal Ahmad on attaining superannuation and wished him a successful and healthy post-retirement life. He noted that Dr. Bilal Ahmad Raja has set a legacy of high standards and it was obligatory for the successors to maintain these.
