Jammu, Jan 25: A pilot was killed and another seriously injured after an Indian Army Dhruv chopper crash landed in Lakhanpur area of Jammu
Official sources told GNS that two pilots suffered grievous injuries when Dhruv helicopter that was on a routine patrolling crashed inside an army establishment near Basoli Morh of Lakhanpur. The injured were evacuated to a Military Hospital but one among them died there.
They said that the helicopter was damaged completely. However the pilot and the co-pilot ejected in the but one of them died in the hospital.
They identified the slain pilot as Lieutenant Colonel Rishab Sharma and the seriously injured pilot Captain Anjani Kumar Singh from 254 Army Aviation. “He is on ventilator,” they added.
