Srinagar, Jan 11: An earthquake of 5.1 magnitude on the Richter Scale hit Kishwar district in Jammu and Kashmir.
Strong tremors were felt in Kishtwar and Udhampur districts of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.
“Earthquake of magnitude 5.1 occurred and epicenter — 33.29N, 75.52E, near Kistwar,” according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).
No casualties due to the earthquake have been reported so far.
