Srinagar, Jan 9: A 30-year-old youth died due to massive heart attack in north Kashmir district of Bandipora on Saturday afternoon, official sources said.
They said Irfan Ahmad Mir suffered a massive heart attack at his house at Quil Muqam in Bandipora this afternoon. However, he was immediately rushed to hospital where he was declared brought dead.
Yesterday a SSB jawan died due to cardiac arrest in central Kashmir district of Badgam.
About a dozen persons, including a journalist, had died due to cardiac arrest in the Kashmir valley this winter.
The Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) president has warned increase in the heart attacks during winter due to severe cold.
