Srinagar: Security forces on Friday morning launched a cordon and search operation in multiple localities in Lolab area of north-Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
An police official said that the searches are being jointly conducted by teams of 28 RR and SOG personnel in Peer mohallah besides Bada Khan villages of Diver in Lolab area.
All the entry and exit points to the areas have been sealed even as door-to-door searches going on, the official said.
Meanwhile the operations were continuing when this report is being filed. (GNS)
