Srinagar, Dec 28: An army man, who was critically injured in an encounter with militants on Friday evening at Kanigam, Shopian district of South Kashmir, succumbed to his injuries on Monday.
An official said the soldier identified as Anil Kumar Tomar of 44 RR, who was critically injured during encounter, succumbed to his injuries.
Pertinently, two local Al-Badr militants were killed and two soldiers injured in 19-hour long encounter in Kanigam, Shopian. (KNO)
