Srinagar, Dec 23: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday raided the house of former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) nominated MLA Anjun Fazili in Srinagar, official sources said.
They said sleuths of ED raided the house of Fazili at Kursoo Rajbagh after police and security forces were deployed in strength in the area.
Sources said some documents were also taken away by the ED officials during the raid.
However, it was not immediately clear why the house of Fazili was raided, they said adding further details are awaited.
Fazili of PDP and Priya Sethi of BJP were nominated by Governor as MLAs from Srinagar and Jammu respectively during the coalition (PDP-BJP) government in 2016.
