Srinagar: A woman, who allegedly set herself on fire last week in central Kashmir district of Badgam, succumbed in a Srinagar hospital, official sources said on Tuesday.
A 65-year-old woman, who was not identified, allegedly set herself on fire at her house at Chan-mohalla Soibugh in Badgam on December 15. She was immediately rushed to local hospital from where they were referred to SMHS hospital Srinagar.
However, she succumbed in the hospital.
Police has already registered a case and initiated proceedings, they said.
