Srinagar: A teenager boy allegedly committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance in central Kashmir district of Badgam on Tuesday, official sources said.
They said a boy Shabir Ahmad Pala allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his home at village Drung in Badgam district. However, he was immediately rushed to local hospital at Khag, where he was referred to Srinagar.
Pala was later declared brought dead by doctors at SMHS hospital.
It was not immediately clear why the teenager took this extreme step, they said, adding that police has registered a case and initiated proceedings.
