Netizens enjoy laughter as contestants fumble while making statements

Srinagar, Dec 7: The ongoing polls being conducted in Jammu and Kashmir has brought many candidates to the fore, who are presently famous on social networking sites.
Unlike previous elections, the ongoing polls in Jammu and Kashmir has gained momentum on social media as the funny statements as well as the videos of candidates who are in the electoral fray are doing rounds on Facebook, Instagram and other social networking sites.
The candidates in the electoral fray are otherwise remembered for their statements vis-à-vis promises for the betterment of the people, but this time, the people especially netizens have been remembering the candidates in the electoral fray for their funny statements as well as their fumbling language.
The social media posts by the netizens remain flooded throughout the day with different videos of the candidates in which they could be seen using fumbled language and statements, which brings laughter among the viewers.
The Youtubers in the Valley have also used their statements and videos for roasting purposes, which has attracted a large number of viewers so far. The Youtubers have so far used video clips of many candidates for roasting purposes.
The beginning of such roasting started with Javaid Qureshi, a leader from north Kashmir, when he tore his clothes while making a statement against the former chief minister and PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti.
Later on, after the beginning of ongoing polls and filing of nomination papers by these candidates, the social media remained flooded with memes and roasting videos.
Different sarcastic videos are available on social media nowadays in which the candidates from different political parties or independents could be seen uttering funny statements.
In one such video, twin independent candidates from unknown places are not even able to utter the word ‘independent’ while one among them doesn’t even know on which seat she is contesting.
Similarly, a candidate from Khag is also famous among the netizens for his statements. He could be seen using poetry, which he mostly forgets in the videos. The candidate is also seen using poetry where he usually fumbles, thus making the people laugh. However, a video has also gone viral in which he is speaking over the memes and roasting videos on him. He has said that there is nothing wrong in making such videos and those making it are his own children.
The netizens while commenting on the videos are expressing their views on these candidates with most of them saying that criteria should be put in place by the government so that deserving candidates only would be able to contest the elections so that the people can get admirable leaders to deal with their day-to-day issues.
