Weather to remain erratic in J&K till Dec 13

 

Srinagar, Dec 5: Indian meteorological Departement of J&K has predicted erratic weather in J&K till 13th December.

In a statement IMD said that Weather is likely to remain mainly dry till 6th evening. As expected earlier there’s less than 90% chances of moderate snowfall with isolated heavy fall during 7-8th Dec . On higher reaches of JK n Ladakh like Gulmarg, Zojila, Banihal-Ramban Top etc.

They said, this system is likely to give more snowfall on Norther parts of Valley, Drass Sonmarg axis. Meanwhile Plains of J&K and Zanskar, Drass and other places likely to get light snowfall/rain.

Thereafter as of now, another snow spell is likely during 12-13th may change slightly in coming days, predictability upto 60%.

Above snow spell may led to disruption of Traffic on Zojila, Mugal Road etc, said the official.(GNS)
