COVID-19: 9 more die in J&K, 370 test positive

Death toll mounts to 1694; case tally at 110224

Srinagar, Nov 30: Jammu and Kashmir reported nine more COVID-19 deaths, while 370 more people tested positive for the virus in last 24-hours, officials said.
They said that death toll in the union territory due to COVID-19 has mounted to 1694, while 110224 people have tested positive for the pestilence in J&K till date.
Two among the deaths from Jammu region were reported from the winter capital of J&K, taking its count to 300 while Kishtwar reported two fatalities besides one each from Kathua and Samba.
The victims from Valley include one each from Budgam (a 70-year-old man from Khanda Chattergam), Bandipora (a 65-year-old man from Arampora)and Kulgam( a 58-year-old man from Checkiwangund Qazigund), they said.
With these deaths, the total fatality count in the Valley has reached 1104 and 590 in the Jammu region.
Srinagar district with 416 deaths tops the list followed by Jammu (300), Baramulla (163), Budgam (101), Pulwama (86), Kupwara (83), Anantnag (78), Doda (56), Bandipora (51), Kulgam (51), Rajouri (49), Udhampur (49), Ganderbal (38), Shopian (37), Kathua (37), Samba (30), Poonch (22), Ramban (18), Kishtwar(18), and Reasi (9). J&K reports 370 fresh cases, total 110224
Meanwhile, twenty-five travelers besides 19 soldiers and two minors were among 370 new COVID-19 cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir in last 24 hours, taking the total tally to 110224.
Official sources said that 181 of these cases were reported from Jammu Division and 189 from Kashmir Valley.
Giving district wise details, they said Srinagar reported 84, Baramulla 18, Budgam 19, Pulwama 22, Kupwara 6, Anantnag 7, Bandipora 8, Ganderbal 23, Kulgam 2, Shopian 0, Jammu 81, Rajouri 17,
Udhampur 26, Doda 5, Kathua 15, Poonch 1, Samba 15, Kishtwar 16, Ramban 5 and Reasi 0.
A number of these cases including 13 from BB Cantt Srinagar, six security personnel and two minors were confirmed at SKIMS and CD hospitals diagnostic labouratories.
SKIMS Cases
The BB Cantt cases include four males (25, 28, 25, 21) from BB Cantt Srinagar.
The Budgam cases include male (35) and female (23) from Gogipathrie, male (80) from Buzgoo, female (26) from Colony Budgam, female (12) from Gulabagh Khag, male (40) from Nowgam Kanihama Hamda Colony, female (38) from Sabir Mohalla Natipora, female (65) from Gani Pora Pohroo, female (65) from Behram Pora Kuzveera, female (35) from Nunner, male (36) from Ompora, three females (30, 13, 25) and male (30) from Hanjoora Chadoora, male (34) from Gawherpora Chadoora, male (18) from Chanapora Budgam, female (17) from Housing Colony Ompora, male (45) from Aboora Kunzer Budgam.
The Kupwara cases include female (14) and male (29) from 19 Garh Chowkibal, male (38) from 18 Madras, two males (48, 34) from 68 Mbc Trehgam, male (39) from 18 Madras Kupwara.
The Ganderbal cases include female (20) from Giraj, male (37) and female (02) from Duderhama, female (25) from Illahibagh, male (59) from Beehama, male (65) from Duderhama Ganderbal.
The Anantnag cases include male (20) from Islamabad Anantnag.
