MAAC Kashmir to participate in Vaadi T20 tournament

Srinagar, Nov 29: MACC Kashmir is going to participate in Vaadi e Kashmir T20 cricket Tournament at SKS Cricket Academy, Kurkshetra Haryana.
It is the third consecutive year that MACC Kashmir would be participating in the tournament outside J&K (State / National level).
“In order to have a national level exposure and experience tournament pressure at turf surface, we are preparing the local players,” said Shabir Ahmad Shah, Manager MACC Kashmir.
He said they are facilitating the players to participate in number of tournaments in J&K particularly in Kashmir. “The players are showing good talent, exerting pressure and practicing hard for national level tournaments”.
According to Shah, mostly the players remain associated with the MACC throughout the year but few changes are necessary for a good fight.
In the present team squad of 13 players, 9-year-old Mohammad bin Umar has been included for the tournament at Haryana. The names of other players Aqib Saeed, Waseem Baba (Captain), Faizan Mehraj (Vice Captain), Younis Taploo, Faiq Mukthar, Umer Shafi, Shafat Wani, Azim Rather, Owais Wani, Adil Khanday, Khan Mehraj, Tariq Akhoon and Dr. Mudasir. Abhi Shair is Co- Manager of the tournament.
“ We are hopeful that our mission Sports will yield good results in future as well and MACC will participate in more and more tournaments in future,” Shah added.
