Precious Kashmir News
Sumbal, Nov 27: Cracks continue to appear in the seven party ‘Peoples Alliance for Gupkar Declaration’ as former PDP leader, Yasir Reshi who is also the part of Alliance on Friday putting PAGD nominated candidate aside, started campaigning for his own candidate in Sumbal Block of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Sources told KNS that PAGD had nominated Ghulam Ahmad Bahar of National Conference as its contesting candidate for Sumbal Block. However, putting PAGD aside, former legislator started campaigning for his own candidate Abdul Hamid Kaloo.
Sources close to Yasir said he is not happy with the seat sharing agreement of PAGD for the District development Council.
Meanwhile, Yasir Reshi and congress leader Imtiyaz Parry also held a joint convention of party workers in Hajin area of Bandipora and formally gave birth to Yasir-Imtiyaz Alliance.
On the occasion the duo said that the aim of the alliance is to defeat the dynasty politicians and to strengthen the development scenario of Sonawari. (KNS)
