Jammu, Nov 23: An accused arrested in NDPS Act and Unlawful activities died in a hospital here after developing some health issues.
Police sources said the accused namely Kuldeep Kumar, 45, who was arrested by Arnia Police but lodged in R S Pura Police custody, late on Sunday night complaint of Blood Pressure problem.
“The accused after complaining of BP problem, fainted following which he was rushed to the Government Medical College and Hospital but he was declared dead,” police sources said.
SDPO R S Pura Shabir Khan told UNI, “the accused was arrested few days back and he was having some heart problem. Last night he developed some problem and was taken to the hospital.”
He was arrested from elsewhere and was in the custody of R S Pura Police, said the SDPO.
