4 cops injured after escort vehicle of former MLA meets with an accident 

 

Baramulla, Nov 16: At least four policemen sustained injuries after the escort vehicle of former PDP legislator met with an accident in North Kashmir’s Barmaulla district. One of the cops suffered grievous injuries and was shifted to Srinagar hospital.
Police sources told news agency KNT that the accident occurred on Sunday late evening.
They said that the escort vehicle of former Legislator Rafiabad Yawar Mir met with an accident near Stadium Colony Baramulla.
Four policemen were injured in the accident. They include Selection Grade Constable Ramesh Kumar of Kishtwar, Head Constable Ghulam Mustafa Khan, a resident of Ganderbal, Constable Tariq Hussain Jinder of Boniyar Baramulla and Selection Grade Constable Muhammad Yousuf.
The injured were shifted to District Hospital Baramulla wherefrom one policeman Muhammad Yousuf of IRP 8th Battalion, who has received critical injuries, was referred to SKIMS Soura for further treatment.
