Srinagar, Oct 27: Encounter broke out between militants and security forces in Mouchwa area of Budgam district on Tuesday evening.
Reports reaching GNS that a joint team of Srinagar Police, Budgam Police and Army’s 50RR launched a cordon and search operation in Mouchwa.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering a gunfight.
A senior police officer also confirmed to GNS about exchange of firing between militants and security forces.
As per the sources two JeM militants believed to be trapped.
