Durbar Move: IGP Security, Director SSG chair meet

Srinagar, Oct 22: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Security Dr S D Singh Jamwal and Director SSG chaired a meeting at PCR here on Thursday to discuss the various security arrangements for smooth shifting of the government offices from Srinagar to Jammu in connection with annual Durbar Move.
In a statement here a police spokesman said that in the meeting all the stake holders were apprised about the security precautions to be taken for the smooth and safe passage of Durbar move convoys/employees  from Srinagar to Jammu,  besides to ensure security of all vital installations both at  Srinagar and Jammu as per the Standard Operative Procedure.
In view of the pandemic COVID 19 scare, the IGP impressed upon all  the participants  about the precautions to be taken and appropriate SOP  to be followed as per the guidelines of the government during the loading of records and on the day of the movement of convoy.
