Azad tests positive for COVID-19  

New Delhi, Oct 16: Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad on Friday tested positive for Covid-19.

Azad, also the leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, is in home quarantine. He has advised people who came in contact with him in last few days to follow the Covid protocol.

In a tweet, the senior Congress leader said,’’ I have tested positive for COVID-19. I am in home quarantine. Those who came in contact with me in last few days may kindly follow the protocol.’’

Azad is the latest among several Congress leader to have tested positive for Covid, the earlier being AICC leader Ahmed Patel, veteran congressman Motilal Vora and AICC spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi.
