Missing youth traced in Ganderbal

Ganderbal, Sept 28: Police on Monday said that it has traced a missing youth at Sindbal area of Ganderbal district.
Police officials said that as reported by a lady on 27-09-2020 that her son namely Irshad Ahmad (age 19-20) labour by profession is missing since 21st of September from his home and accordingly a missing report was lodged at Police Station Gund.
“Ganderbal Police acted swiftly and started investigation in this regard. It is revealed that Irshad Ahmad (missing person) had a heated argument with his mother and he fled away from his home and during these days he was at his friend’s home at Sindbal, Ganderbal,” police said.
Police said a team from Police Station Gund headed by Station House Officer (SHO) Police Station Gund, Inspector Syed Sajad under the supervision of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ganderbal Khalil Ahmad Poswal, reached the spot and picked him. “Later on, he was handed over to his mother,” police said.
Meanwhile, people hailed the swift action of Ganderbal Police while the lady thanked them for tracing out her son. (KNO)
