Srinagar, Sept 13: Family members of a youth, who has gone missing since September 8, in south Kashmir district of Anantng, has appealed him to return home.
A 21-year-old identified as Yasir Ahmad Wani has left his home at Wangund, Dooru, in Anantnag on September 8.
However, a massive searches were launched after he did not return home.
Later, a missing report was filed in local police station.
The family members have appealed him to return back as everyone is concerned.
They said Yasir has deliberately kept his mobile phone at his home when he left.
They further appealed to government, police and people to help them to trace Yasir.
If he is with anybody please let him go as his sister and parents and other family members are shattered, the appeal said.
About a dozen youths had returned home following appeal by family members.
Police has also helped many youths to shun the path of militancy and join the mainstream. Recently a militant surrendered during an encounter in south Kashmir.
