New Delhi, Aug 18: The Comptroller and Auditor General of India Girish Chandra Murmu on Tuesday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister’s office said.
Murmu had on Monday called on President Ram Nath Kovind.
Girish Chandra Murmu had on August 6 resigned from the post of the Lieutenant Governor of the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Later, he was appointed as the new Comptroller and Auditor General of India.
