Amit Shah admitted to AIIMS for ‘post COVID care’

New Delhi, Aug 18: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has been admitted to AIIMS for post COVID care.
The Home Minister is continuing his work from the hospital and is comfortable at present, the hospital said on Tuesday.
He was taken to AIIMS late on Monday night at around 0200 hrs and admitted to the old private ward.
After testing negative for COVID, Mr Shah had been complaining of body aches and fatigue for the past three -four days and thereby was admitted to the country’s premier medical institution for post COVID care.
On August 14, the HM had tested negative for the contagion after undergoing treatment at the Medanta Hospital, Gurugram, for about two weeks.
After getting discharged from the hospital he was on rest at home under doctor’s guidance.
