Srinagar, Aug 3: A youth died due to electrocution on Monday in Srinagar outskirts, official sources said.
They said a 30-year-old Altaf Ahmad Mir came in contact with a live wire at fishermen colony, Hazratbal, in the city outskirts. However, he was immediately rushed to a hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
Police have registered a case and initiated proceedings.
