Rajouri, July 10: An army soldier was killed after Pakistani Rangers resorted to shelling from across the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district of Jammu region.
Official sources told news agency KNT that an army Havaldar sustained splinter injuries. Though he was shifted to a medical facility, he succumbed there of his injuries.
Official sources identified the slain soldiers as Havaldar S. Gurung.
The cross LoC firing and shelling incident occurred during the middle of Thursday night. (KNT)
