New Delhi, June 22: India’s Covid-19 tally stood at 4,25,282 on Monday after 14,821 fresh infections and 445 deaths, the highest so far, were reported in the last 24 hours, the Union health ministry data said.
With this India’s death toll has mounted to 13,699, it updated.
In some relief, the country’s recovery rate, the ratio of the number of patients recovered to the number of patients infected, also went up to 55.77 per cent as 237,195 patients were discharged from the hospitals till Monday.
There are 174,384 active Covid-19 cases and 237,195 people have been cured of the disease.
