Srinagar, June 15: The Chief Animal Husbandry Officer (CAHO), who was designated as Nodal Officer (NO) of a COVID care center in south Kashmir district of Pulwama, has been suspended for dereliction of duties, an official spokesperson said on Monday evening.
He said the district administration suspended Pulwama CAHO M Hussain Wani for dereliction of duties and mismanagement of a COVID care centre, situated in the district headquarters.
Mr Wani, designated as Nodal Officer of the facility, who was previously also issued warnings for laxity on his part, was found absent from the district Headquarters on Sunday, during an informed visit of the District Magistrate.
