New Delhi, Jun 14: With 8,049 COVID-19 patients cured in the last 24 hours, the recovery rate in the country has become more than 50 per cent, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Sunday.
A total of 1,62,378 patients, so far, have been cured of COVID-19, the Ministry said in a statement.
Currently, the recovery rate is 50.60 per cent. This indicates that of all the cases of COVID-19, half of them have recovered from the disease. Timely case identification and proper clinical management has been the road to recovery.
Currently, 1,49,348 active cases are under medical supervision, the statement said
