Srinagar, 14 June CNI:A ferocious bear created havoc by killing half dozen sheep in shatigam Rajwar area of North Kashmir’s kupwara District.
As per reports to Current News of India that a wild bear entered into the cowshed of syed Muhammad Maqbool Geelani resident of shatigam Rajwar and kills atleast 6 sheep late Saturday night.
Scared residents are appealing to Wildlife officials to lay a trap for the wild animal so that these incidents would not happen in the future.
Meanwhile incharge wildlife officer confirmed the incident to Current News of India and said that a team has been constituted to visit the spot and will access the losses.
Pertinently to mention that two wild bears were captured live by the department last month, he adds.
